Illustrator

... my new favourite toy and time waster. This is from the illustrator workshops where we had to make a simple image- made up of flat colour shapes, with smooth neat curves.

I broke the rule of  "no personal stuff on this blog " a while ago so Im being naughty and breaking even more rules. Next ill be uploading poems about areoplanes and cling film! (That was a funny joke, I hope I never put such poems on here)

KCAH

The other day I took photographs for a charity called KCAH (short for Kingston's Churches Action on Homelessness)
I really loved it and if I wasn't doing a degree I would run about taking photos of people every day.

I like finding circles and lines in things. I like finding a lot of things, infact I like pretty much all things. Especially C.S Lewis
Even in literature and art, no man who bothers about originality will ever be original: whereas if you simply try to tell the truth (without caring twopence how often it has been told before) you will, nine times out of ten, become original without ever having noticed it.

We had a brief which I did a blog post about here.
and the other day I finished the cover and sewed it together. So now its finished, woo :-)

"Therefore your brief is to create some artwork for an album cover for a made-up band, using Photoshop and Illustrator"

A few photographs from the last couple of days...
I have been accidently taking photos on slide film instead of normal film and this means I have to send them off and pay a lot of money that doesn't exist in my bank account.
... however I am curious about how negatives that are not actually negatives look like.
