Darkroom

Hopefully, I will use these images in someway
.... If not, it was fun anyway

A poem!!

One night I wrote this:

When the rain has fallen and the earth is clear,
It becomes quite obvious that the world is a sphere.
It's round and its bulgy with bumps and lumps.
It's hard and it's solid but changes with months.
There is Autumn and Winter and Summer and Spring,
New babies are born and the birds will sing.
But sometimes its dark and hard to see.
When people move out and loved ones leave,
But through the fog and fire and fear,
There will always be signs that this world is a sphere.

...And then I still couldn't sleep so I drew:

A few prints from the darkroom

There is a forest/wood at the top of the hill where I live in Bath.
And the other day I went on a walk because it's autumn and if it would stop raining, everything is beautiful.
Taking photos with Black and White film doesn't really capture it.

Also, I don't know who made the images below but they really do deserve a gold star!

"Nothing is original. Steal from anywhere that resonates with inspiration or fuels your imagination. Devour old films, new films, music, books, paintings, photographs, poems, dreams, random conversations, architecture, bridges, street signs, trees, clouds, bodies of water, light and shadows. Select only things to steal from that speak directly to your soul. If you do this, your work (and theft) will be authentic. Authenticity is invaluable; originality is non-existent. And don’t bother concealing your thievery - celebrate it if you feel like it. In any case, always remember what Jean-Luc Godard said: “It’s not where you take things from - it’s where you take them to."

Birthdays!!!!

YAYYY

Collages

One day recently I thought it would be a good use of my time to tear up paper and stick it on paper. It wasnt really.

Lets Begin

This was our final year exhibition:

It was full of book and Ipad apps... And it was in an old pet shop in Bath.
Here are parts of my book:

Whoopie Pies

Get all these Ingredients:
100g/4oz Butter or Margarine
100g/4oz Caster sugar
2 Eggs
225g/8oz Self Raising Flour
½ teasp salt
1 teasp Vanilla extract
120ml/4fl.oz. Milk

....Mix all of them together.... Then divide it into bowls and make them different colours (using food colouring)
Then make balls (like shown) and VOILA. We mixed colours together cus we are crazy art students and live life on the edge.
Then when theyve been in the oven for 10/15 minutes at 180C (gasmark4) take them out, cut them in half and add butter icing (and crushed smarties).
We dribbled melted chocolate on the top.

Multi-Exposure

At Uni we were told to do a speech on where we see ourselves in the future
(pretty tricky if you ask me)...
Anyways. I included a part about taking pictures. Of trees, of place, of anything.
Here are some examples:

Things and People and Paintings and Places...

This is an update of my life... As from 1.30 today I am pretty much free with no restrictions (other than being poor) for 4 months, 6days. (So if I like you and you have jobs that need doing I may be inclined) I also need to print a book but that will be okay. On 16th July Im going to Malawi with my Dad Mum and sister. My Dad grew up there and wants to show us things. Then I may try and work in Vomfass again but dunno, also need to pass my driving test at some point in my life... And obviously bake a lot of cake.
